Gas-based power project at Nedunur in Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh
As reported by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (APGENCO), presently, due to non-availability of firm allocation of gas, APGENCO has proposed to take up the project with 700 MW initially in Stage-I with Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG). The Detailed Project Report is being revised and tender documents are under preparation by APGENCO. The power generation is likely to start from March, 2013 from Stage-I
