Larsen & Toubro has bagged the Balance of Plant ( BoP) contract for 2 x 600 megawatt power plant at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh from Visa Power. The Under the BOP contract, L&T would design, engineer, supply, erect and complete Balance of Plant.

The scope of work includes civil, structural and architectural works, coal and ash handling plants, induced draft cooling towers among others.
The project would be commissioned within 29-32 months.

The contract is valued at Rs.1610 Crore.

Earlier this week, BHEL bagged main plant package contract for the same project.
