Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) has received three new proposals for setting up biomass power projects in the state.

The proposals include,

1. A 3 mw biogas-based power plant by REI Agro at Rewari
2. A 1.95 MW biomass power plant by Sunstar Overseas at Bahalgarh in Sonepat district.
3. A 1.0 MW biomass power plant based on cow, horse, poultry waste and maize stalks by HP Bio Energy at Nangthala in Hisar.
