Siemens Water Technologies has bagged a contract from Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction to provide a condensate polisher package with external regeneration facility.

The facility will be provided to GMR Chhattisgarh Energy Private Limited.

Siemens will design, engineer and fabricate the condensate polisher system, which is currently scheduled for start up in June 2014. The polishers will be used at the 1,370 MW Raipur Super Thermal Power Plant in the state of Chhattisgarh, India,.

For the Raipur power plant, Siemens Water Technologies will provide six condensate polishers that will treat over 3,100 m3/hr of return condensate
