Madhucon sets up coal project in AP

Madhucon Projects Limited’s subsidiary Madhucon Infra Limited is setting up of 1,920 MW coal based power project near Nellore.

The construction of Phase – I of 300 MW power plant is completed in all respects. Simhapuri Energy Private Limited has received the startup power from PGCL and SRLDC and thee Boiler light up process has commenced and the Company is now heading towards synchronization of Phase – I of 300 MW.

With regard to Phase – II of 300 MW, it is planned to be commissioned by August, 2012. Simhapuri Energy Private Limited has also applied for clearances of Phase – III of 1,320 MW and hope to start the commissioning activities by 3rd or 4th quarter of 2012.
